MY PRAKERIN JOURNEY

Hi there! How are you? Hope you guys are fine. See you again with me, Chelsea. It's been a long time since I've been actively writing a blog again because I'm doing Industrial Work Practice activities that have been running for 3 months, forgive me hahaha. Here I want to share about the PRAKERIN (Industrial Work Practice) activities that I did at PT. AJISAKA (Alam Jati Semesta Karunia Agung). PT. AJISAKA is one of the housing development companies, especially in the field of Healthy Simple Homes (RSH). The office location is on Jl. Jangli No. 321, Candisari, Karanganyar Gunung, Semarang City.

PT Ajisaka's office building has 2 floors and 1 rooftop. This office has exterior walls with a dominant crème color and is equipped with a fairly thick wood nuance. There is a quite large motorcycle and car parking area along with many plants and trees that make the atmosphere shadier. The office has a square-shaped terrace that is quite large and has two decorative statues on its right and left.

I learned to explore AutoCAD and SketchUp by creating a house design combined with a shop. I was also taught several things, such as that a house must be perpendicular to the road in front of it, the term "hook" which refers to a house that is at the very end and has the remaining land. I was also invited to survey a housing project in Wonolopo, Mijen.

My friend and I were measuring the ground to be installed with Bouwplank

A house project that is almost complete

Reinforcing bar that has been assembled into a Footplate

Analyzing the carved wooden parts that will be used to make a Joglo house

At that time I helped measure the land for Bouwplank installation. There I saw a house project that had been in progress and and was almost finished. Also, I saw some building materials that had never been shown directly at school, such as reinforcing bar (rebar) that had been assembled into Footplates. I was also given the task of revising a Siteplan for the Wonolopo project. In addition to modern houses, I was also taught about the construction of joglo houses, which had never been taught at school.

So far, I have enjoyed my Industrial Work Practice at PT. AJISAKA. Besides the cozy place, the employees and owners are very friendly. Not only that, I also met some friends from other schools. We get along with each other and talk together peacefully.

See ya!
