GAMPANG BANGET! Cara Singkat Belajar Recount Text

Hai hai semuaa! Apa kabar? Hope you guys are fine. Berjumpa lagi sama aku, Chelsea (yeyyy) (jangan pada bosen yaa wkwkwk). Seperti biasa, aku bawa materi lagi nih. Kali ini aku bawain materi Recount text. Recount text ini pasti kalian udah nemuin berkali-kali ya. Entah dimapel Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris. Tanpa basa-basi, yuk langsung cuss aja ke materi. Let's go!!
 
Pertama, apa sih Recount text itu? Simak ya!
1. What is Recount text?
A recount text is a text that retells a story, experience, or activity experienced by the writer in the past.

2. The purpose of Recount text
The purpose of recount text is to retell past events/experiences to the reader.

Sebelum kalian menulis Recount text, harus tau dulu dong struktur text-nya
3. Generic structure of Recount text
    1)    Orientation.
It gives the readers the background information needed to understand the text, such as who was involved, where it happened, and when it happened.
    2)     Events.
Tells a series of events that occur in chronological order.
    3)     Re-orientation
Contains a summary of all the events or incidents that are told. Besides that, it can also contain comments or personal impressions of events or incidents that have occurred.  

4. How to express a Recount text
a)   Using sentences Past tense or past. Because the stories written are things that happened in the past.
Examples such as the use of the verb 3 went, woke up, departed, burned, ate, and so on.
b)    Using adverbial phrases or adverbs of place and time. So that listeners/readers can catch our story.
c)    Use Connective adverbs or conjunctions between sentences.
Examples include first, and, after, that, before, next, finally, and so on.
This connective adverb is to show the sequence of events that we tell when writing the Recount Text.

5. Types of Recount text
1)     Personal Recount
Tells about the author's personal experience. It includes things like diary writing, but it's also what we do whenever we tell someone a story about something that happened to us.
2)     Factual Recount
Factual recount text is a story to present reports related to events that occurred based on facts (actually happened) and are not fixated on personal events, it could also be the events of other people. The purpose of a factual account is to inform (rather than entertain) the reader about a particular event.
3)     Imaginative Recount
The imaginative recount is a text that is usually used by someone as a story from an imaginative event that is experienced by someone. The purpose of an imaginative recount is to help the reader understand an event by providing a fictional recount that's as true to life as possible.
4)     Procedural recount
Procedural recounts aren’t very common in English lessons - they’re more for scientists. They’re most often used to describe an experiment so that it can be replicated by others. Because of this, the language needs to be exact.
5)     Literary Recount
This kind of recount writing is all about entertainment. They can be about fictional or real events and involve real or fictional characters.
 
Hmm.. Teori tanpa contoh itu kayak ada yang kurang ya? Maka dari itu, aku kasih beberapa contohnya nih.

7. Writing 
Biar kerja nyata (azekk) aku juga udah tulis satu Personal Recount text nih. Isinya tentang pengalamanku waktu jadi sie acara Natal Youth 2022 di gerejaku. 

Ini itu salah satu pengalaman yang berharga banget bagi aku. Dan aku harap, pengalaman ini bisa buat aku jadi lebih ngerti gimana caranya bekerjasama dengan orang lain dalam membangun sebuah acara yang ngelibatin banyak orang. Jujur aja, aku jadi lebih pede juga lohh.
