1. What is an Analytical Exposition Text?
Analytical exposition text is a text which contains the writer's ideas on the phenomena or issues surrounding the writer and is followed by several arguments that support it.

      2. Purpose of Analytical Exposition Text
      a.      Inform readers of discussions related to existing phenomena or issues.
      b.     To analyze the topic and to convince or influence the reader that this opinion is correct and supported by arguments
      c.      To convince the reader that the topics presented were an important topic to discuss or garner attention.

      3. Generic Structure of Analytical Exposition Text
Jadi, struktur Analytical Exposition Text ini terdiri dari 3 bagian. Apa aja tuh?
      1)     Thesis (Introduction): it contains writer’s opinion on something. It also presents the topics and gives the author's position.
      2)     Argument (Body): it contains the argument to support the writer’s position. The number of arguments may vary, but each argument needs to be supported by proof and explanation.
      3)     Reiteration (Conclusion): Rephrase the writer's perspective/ strengthen the thesis.

     4 . Expression/ Language Feature of Analytical Exposition Text
      a)     Use Simple Present Tense, because it talks about facts or things happening in the present
      b)     Use words that can be used to express what we feel or think, like experience, appear, feel, know, think, realize, sense, etc.

            c)      Using conjunctions

The following is a group of connecting words.

a.      To add ideas or opinions: in addition to, besides, furthermore.

b.     To compare several ideas or opinions: but, while, vice versa, whereas, henceforth, on the other hand.

c.      To indicate sequence or time: first, then, next.

d.     To show causation: as a result, because, by, accordingly, despite, due to, for that reason.
